The cabbage is well known healthy food for heart related concerns. Cabbage can be used as roller cover for delicious stuff inside. Now here we can see the preparation method of Cabbage Rolls stuffed with soft spinach, corn, and taste.

Ingredients:

1/2 kgs cabbage leaves, large, separated out

Oil to brush the cabbage rolls

1/4 cup corn (boiled)

Salt for taste (approx 1 tsp)

1/2 tsp garam masala

1/2 tsp powdered black pepper

3/4 cup spinach (palak), boiled and chopped fine

1/4 cup cream

1 slice bread, crusts removed

1/4 tsp oregano or Vaamu (ajwain)

4 Tbsp cheese, grated

Tomato Sauce for Garnishing and taste

Preparation Method:

Take a large size cabbage, remove the outer leaves, and cut the base stem of the cabbage. Now boil the cabbage (not more than 5 minutes) drain and leave the cool. Peel off the leaves carefully without rupturing, and get 6 leaves (as per servings count). Shred the bread into small pieces.

For stuffing mix the corn, salt, black pepper, garam masala, spinach (palak), cream, cheese, and oregano together.

Now keep the palak mixture on the leaves, fold the leaves from top without damaging the leaf. Roll this in such a way that it is like a parcel, which seals the mixture inside. Place the rolls on to a greased oven-proof serving dish, brush the rolls with oil and bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Maintain the

Oven temp at 180 C-350 F. after taking out, you can garnish them with tomato sauce and coriander leaves.
