57 year old inmate in suburbs of Washington died on Thursday, he was arrested early Thursday on an assault charge.

Maryland officials are investigating the reasons for his death. The Prince George’s County Department in a press release said that they found the inmate on his bed unresponsive and the staff performed CPR on the man, but the responding EMS officials declared him as dead.

The man’s body has been taken to the medical examiner’s office in Baltimore.

Officials say that there is no sign of foul play. A detailed investigation is being conducted by police on this incident.
