It’s been nine years since Aarushi Talwar a 14- year-old and domestic help Hemraj were killed at her home in Noida. Aarushi was the daughter of a dentist couple, Rajesh and Nupur.

This case had too many twists and turns but no clear conclusion was given. Initially, domestic help Hemraj was suspected after Aarushi’s murder on May 16th, 2008. But on May 17th he was found dead on the terrace of Talwar’s home. Talwar’s former help Vishnu was also suspected. However, police said that this murder was committed with Surgical Precision; the suspect was either a doctor or butcher.

Then Aarushi’s parents came under the radar, and then they started investigating this case from dishonor killing angle. Aarushi’s father was arrested for twin murders of Aarushi and Hemraj.

CBI declared this case to be a “blind case”. Rajesh Talwar was not given bail by the special magistrate in Ghaziabad. In 2012, Nupur Rajesh Talwar’s wife was arrested regarding this case. However on Nov 26th Talwar couple was sentenced to life in CBI Court. The couple applied for High court.

On Thursday Allahabad High Court is expected to give a verdict in this case.
