Analysis

Prati Roju Pandaage Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

Prati Roju Pandaage has a decent first half which is filled with light-hearted sensible comedy. The emotional episodes have been shot well and the songs are decent. Sai Dharam Tej, Rao Ramesh and Satyaraj carry the film on their shoulders with their performances. Prati Roju Pandaage has nothing new but the first half of the film is completely passable. The visuals and the production values are the major asset of Prati Roju Pandaage.

The second half of Prati Roju Pandaage takes a steep hill and is completely predictable. Maruthi fails badly once again after a decent first half. The emotional episodes are forced and they don't look natural. The songs are just ok but they make no impact. The pre-climax episodes make the film even worse. The climax is predictable and Prati Roju Pandaage ends up on an ok note.

Performance

Sai Dharam Tej looks decent and he delivered a subtle performance throughout. The actor should lose enough weight soon to stand in the race. Rao Ramesh dominates the show with his comic timing and typical performance. Satyaraj is an asset and he delivers one of the finest performance in his career as a struggling emotional grandfather. Rashi Khanna looks dazzling, energetic and is superb in her role. All the other actors have been decent.

Prati Roju Pandaage has nothing new and exciting when it comes to the basic plot. The screenplay and the dialogues are the major disappointments of the film. S Thaman's music album sounds decent and couple of songs are well shot. The background score elevates some of the episodes well. The cinematography of Prati Roju Pandaage is an asset and so are the grand production values. Maruthi fails once again in delivering a decent flick. The second half of Prati Roju Pandaage is a disappointment.

Final Word

Prati Roju Pandaage is predictable, boring and ends up on a disappointing note. The performances and entertainment are the only relief.
