Two people were found death outside an apartment complex in Fort Washington. Police is investigating into the cause of the death that took place in the early hours of Wednesday.

At around 1:20 a.m. police was alerted about gun shots heard in the 7200 block of Jaywick Drive, said Corporal Maria McKinney, spokeswoman for the Prince George's County Police Department.

When they reached the area they found two persons suffering from trauma to the upper body. Both were declared dead at the crime scene.

Authorities have not given much details about the two persons killed in the overnight incident. Facts relating to their age or gender has not been released yet.

As of now the investigations are on.
