Montgomery County officials has informed that the sixth body has been found in the rubble of an explosion and fire at an apartment building in Silver Spring, in Maryland.
The sixth victim was found on Monday.Police believed that the six victims were among seven men, women and children who were presumed to be in the apartment building at the time of the blast. But officials could not identify the bodies.
The missing have been identified as Saeda Ibrahim, 41 years old; Augusto Jimenez Sr, 62 years old, Maria Auxiliadorai Castellon-Martinez, 53 years old; Aseged Mekonen, 34 yreas old; Deibi “David” Samir Lainez Morales, of 8 yreas; Fernando Josue Hernandez Orellana, 3 years old; and Saul Paniagua, of 65.
Police previously released the name of an eighth person who had been believed to bemissing, but that man has since come forward. He had moved out of the building before the explosion and fire.
The search for more victims had been slowed down by the unstable condition of the building, as well as the extreme heat conditions. But the building has been shored up.
