"You pray, I will hit six sixes again" - Yuvraj Singh

Left-handed batsman Yuvraj Singh gave few vital tips to young kids who fought their battles against Cancer. Yuvraj is a cancer survivor and a World Cup hero. The cricketer who hails from Chandigarh scored 42 off 24 to guide Sunrisers Hyderabad, his IPL team, to a seven-wicket win against Kings XI Punjab.  At the PCA stadium, he interacted with a group of children. Most of them were aged seven or eight years.

A young kid among them asked the 34-year-old, if he will hit those six sixes again. Yuvraj replied saying, "You pray, I will hit six sixes again." He however said that he does not know how he hit those sixes. "Many years have passed since then," said the left-handed batsman.

Six sixes in an over by Yuvraj remained as one of the most cherished moments in Indian cricket. He hit those against England's Stuart Broad in South Africa in 2007 in a Twenty20 World Cup match.

Giving valuable tips to the children, Yuvraj said, “Fight with dreaded disease like cancer teaches you not to take life for granted, not to take your family or friends for granted. Think of it as a blessing in disguise that you have an opportunity to live again."

In the 2011 World Cup, Yuvraj was Player of the Tournament. It was the same year when he was diagnosed with the dreaded disease. Later, the cricketer fought bravely and got cured.
