A Florida man who has given two teenage girls a ride to home has been arrested after being accused of raping one of the girls, said the Baltimore police.

Darius Leon Curry, aged 26, of the Pompano, Florida offered to give the two teenage girls a ride from the Lexington Market on Wednesday, said the police. Both the girls agreed to have the ride and got into the vehicle, said the police.

The 16-year-old female victim gave the Curry drop-off locations by entering their addresses into his smartphone for navigation assistance, said the police. Curry in the first dropped off the friend at her home, then he proceeded to the 16-year-old victim's house, said the police.

While in route to the teenage victim's home, Curry has pulled over in the 2600 block of Waterview Avenue, he climbed onto the front passenger seat where the victim was sitting, then overpowered her, and forced her pants down and sexually assaulted the girl, police said.

After the assaulting sexually, Curry drove the victim to home, said the police. Once the victim has got out of the car, she took out her cellphone and then recorded Curry as he drove away, said the police.

She was able to get the video recording of Curry's license plate, vehicle make and also model, said the police. She then called to police and relayed the suspect's vehicle information.

A Florida leasing company reported the vehicle stolen on 23rd April, said the police.

Detectives also called the leasing company and learned the vehicle has the OnStar. Fox Trot, a Baltimore City Police Helicopter Unit, used to track down the vehicle to the 2300 block of the Perring Parkway.

Tactical Flight Officer's relayed on their observations to the patrol officers, who were able to locate the vehicle, identify and also arrest the suspect.

Curry was taken to the Central Booking. He has been charged with second-degree of rape, and first-, second-, third- and fourth-degree of sex offenses, and also second-degree assault.
